Homward keeps the money and the records of the society itself — fee schedules, bills, numbered receipts, the household directory and announcements — so that next year's treasurer inherits a trail rather than a shoebox.

We never touch your money
There is no payment gateway and no cut of collections. Your society collects exactly as it does today — cash, UPI or bank transfer — and records it here. The app records receipt of money it never holds.
Fees, bills and numbered receipts
Fee schedules run monthly, quarterly, annually or one-time. Bills generate on schedule for every unit, part payments track against the balance, and every payment gets a numbered receipt.
Permission enforced in the database
Row-level security on every table, with tenant isolation at the database layer. A committee member of one society cannot read another's data even with a crafted request. A hidden button is not access control.
Sign in with a mobile number
Residents log in with the phone number the society already has for them. There is no email collection exercise to run first.
A directory that stays current
Units, households, members and committee officials. Residents keep their own household records up to date, and contact details are opt-in by the person who entered them.
Web and mobile
A web app for the monthly meeting and an iOS and Android app for the corridor conversation, carrying one design language across both.

About Homward.
No, and it never will. There is no payment gateway and no per-transaction fee. Your society collects the way it already does — cash, UPI or bank transfer — and records it in Homward. A 'where to pay' screen carries your society's UPI ID, QR code and bank details so nobody has to ask the treasurer again.
Every table carries the society identifier and a row-level security policy enforcing it, applied in the database rather than the interface. A member of one society cannot read another society's data even by crafting a request directly against the API.
Their mobile number. The phone number the society already holds for them is the identity, so there is no email collection exercise first. Administrators sign in with email.
The household directory and the unit register both export to CSV, and receipts print from the receipt document.
The record stays. Every payment carries a numbered receipt, every action is attributable, and nothing is destructive — so an incoming treasurer inherits a complete trail rather than starting over.
